Who makes the hockey predictions?
They are generated automatically from bookmaker prices: the price of each game is read across the bookmakers that list it, the bookmaker's margin is removed to get the market's real probability, and the calls that are likely enough and priced in a sensible range are published. There is no tipster behind them.
What do Odds and Probability mean?
Odds is the median price across every bookmaker that lists the game. Probability is the chance that price implies once the bookmaker's margin is removed. A pick at 1.30 with a 72% probability is one the market rates as likely, but not certain: no prediction is ever a guarantee.
Why does this league sometimes have no hockey pick?
A game gets a pick only when bookmakers have priced it and the call is likely enough and priced in a sensible range. A league can have games with no pick on a given day, by design: the list is selective, not complete.
